BART

5 year old neutered male Lab/Pit Bull mix that was surrendered. He's a friendly dog who gets along with other people under the supervision of a dedicated owner. He can be dominant and would do best in a home without cats, dogs or small children.

PETEY
ADOPTED!

PETEY is a 4-5 month old male (soon to be) neutered lab mix. And this guy is all kinds of fun! He loves to jump around and play! He's learning how to walk on a leash and seems to be catching on quickly! He was abandoned in a cage on the side of the road, but still loves people even though they did something so cruel to him. He does ok with the other dogs here and is working on his house training.

MAGGIE-MAY
OCF Graduate

MAGGIE-MAY is a 7 yr old spayed female Walker Hound mix that was surrendered. She's an energetic dog that likes to run and needs to have an active household to keep her happy. She's a little picky about what dogs she can call friends but in general she's a friendly dog that is very good with people and of course enjoys her time outdoors.

BAILEY is a 3 year old spayed female Pit Bull mix that was recently surrendered.  She's a sweet girl that gets along with everyone she meets and greets, She would prefer a home without any other pets and because she's energetic and her excitement gets the best of her at times, older children are preferred.

KAZ

KAZ is a 4 yr old neutered male Husky mix that was recently surrendered. He is a strong dog who would do well in an active home as he loves walks and gets bored easily. He would need to be the only pet in the home, as he does not do well with cats and most other dogs.  He knows his basic commands and loves to play ball.

LOKI

LOKI is a 1 year old neutered male Shepherd mix that was recently surrendered. He's a well-behaved housetrained dog knows some basic commands and seems eager to please for a treat or two!! He is said not to be too fond of smaller children as he can play a little too rough and likes to get his way. He would make a good watchdog, too

BELLA
At OCF Training Program

BELLA is a 3 and 1/2 year old spayed female Lab/Husky mix that was recently surrendered.  She's a sweet girl that's a little on the shy side, but quite friendly. According to her previous owner, Bella is great with kids but will need to be the only pet in her new home. She likes going for walks.

CHIPPY
ADOPTED!

CHIPPY is about an 8 year old neutered male Rat Terrier mix that was recently found stray in Iron County, WI. He's a well-mannered, housetrained little guy that is a bit choosy on his dog friends but otherwise seems OK with cats.

KODI & KOKO
In Foster

KODI & KOKO are a bonded pair whose owner unfortunately passed away. KODI (left) is a 7 year old neutered Maltese mix and KOKO (right) is a 12 year old spayed Poodle mix. They are both on the shy side, but are able to be picked up without incident and come around quickly with a little encouragement and sweet talk. They don't mind other respectful canine company and don't have an issue with cats either. We would love to see these two live out their golden years together in a home of their very own.  They are presently in a foster home but the foster family’s other dogs are elderly and are needing more attention, so the foster family really needs to find another situation for these two sweeties.  A forever home would be ideal but another foster home would be good as well.

TRAPPER

This rugged guy is TRAPPER! He's a 4 year old neutered male Beagle mix who was recently adopted from us. Due to some unforeseen circumstances he needs to be rehomed. He's an active guy who loves car rides, boat rides, hiking, and just about anything his person is doing. He looks to have been used as a hunting dog too. Trapper likes to be busy and thrives on seeing and doing new things. He isn't a fan of small children, so we are suggesting an active, adult only home, or a home with older children. His current owner tells us he's great in the house, and even sneaks into bed sometimes just to get some cuddles! If you think Trapper would be a good match for you, give us a call at (906)932-1511 or send us a message and we can set up a meet and greet!! Lets get this guy into a forever home!
