DOGS Available For Adoption
4 year old neutered male Lab/Pit Bull mix that was surrendered. He's a friendly dog who gets along with other people under the supervision of a dedicated owner. He can be dominant and would do best in a home without cats, dogs or small children.
5 year old neutered male Boxer/Lab mix that was recently surrendered. He's a sweet, friendly dog that takes a little time to warm up to strangers but loves car rides and playtime. He gets along OK with other dogs too.
MAISEY is a 5-6 year old spayed female Hound mix that was recently surrendered. She's a friendly girl looking for an active owner. Being a hunting dog formerly, Maisey likes to stay busy, so she'd prefer an owner that will take her for walks and spend time giving her the exercise she craves.

FROM THE OWNER:
Rosie is a 3yr old beagle I got her when she was 8 weeks old. She has been spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Her vet is at Hurley Vet clinic. She loves being outside in our fenced in yard and does not like coming in until she is ready so there are times that I chain her up. She eats 1 cup of food per day around 4 or 5 pm, she is a slow eater and I have been feeding her Diamond premium adult for years with no problems. She has been to obedience classes twice once as a puppy and once last fall she does great and does know basic commands. She does enjoy walks but needs to use a harness which I will provide for her walks because she does pull sometimes. I do have problems with her soiling in the house at night, but I'm sure with a little one on one time she will be fine I just cannot give that to her at this time. She is great with kids but does like to jump so I would not advise hhe around kids under 5. No signs of agression at all from her and can be a little sweetheart. Has been with another beagle her whole life and has been around other dogs without problems and lives with one cat and they get along great. When walking she will bark at other dogs at times. She will shred a soft bed or blanket I can't tell you the many beds that we have gone through. Rosie is afraid of thunderstorms and does not care for a crate. She does like car rides and have never had a problem with her in the car. Any more questions please feel free to ask. thank you again.
